The Royal Mint issued a UK £5 coin to mark Remembrance Day 2020.

Whilst we annually hold a two minute silence on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month to remember our fallen heroes, this coin is a constant reminder of their sacrifice.

2020's Remembrance coin is dedicated to the Unknown Warrior – the unidentifiable British soldier repatriated in 1920 for ceremonial burial in honour of all those lost in the First World War.

In fact, Remembrance Day 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the burial of the Unknown Warrior, so this coin is a fitting tribute.

It features a poignant design by Natasha Preece that depicts the silhouette of a soldier with their head hung low in reflection against a backdrop of vibrant red poppies.

This coin has been struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality, so you know it will be free from any of the marks or blemishes you would find on coins in your change.

It comes beautifully presented in bespoke packaging from The Royal Mint and is available at The Royal Mint issue price of JUST £17 (+p&p).

Considering the global significance of this annual event and it's important anniversary, it is expected that this issue will attract a lot of attention. So, make sure you snap yours up while you have the chance.
