Guernsey Freesia Flowers 50p Coin

This 50p features the Guernsey Freesia Flowers on the reverse with the denomination above.

The obverse features the Raphael Maklouf portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the lettering ‘Bailiwick of Guernsey’ above, but also a small Guernsey Coat of Arms. This addition makes the Guernsey 50p stand out when compared to typical UK 50p coins.

Guernsey coins are not legal tender in the rest of the UK, but they have become popular among collectors because of their low mintage figures. Due to the lower population of Guernsey compared to the UK, the mintages of their coins are also significantly lower, making them scarce and sought after.

Please note this coin has been priced according to its scarcity and current market value.
