Own one of the most popular stamp issues in the world…

This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II.  To commemorate this milestone event we have the exciting opportunity for collectors to secure a set of stamps which were issued just after the War.

The Great Britain Victory Issue can be secured today in its original unused condition – just as you would have bought them from the Post Office all those years ago.

The idea for a ‘Victory’ issue idea was mooted as early as April 1941 – over four years before the end of the war.

It was agreed that the stamps were to be issued on the 11th June – the first working day after the Victory parade that was held in London.

Rather than ‘Celebration’ the design on the stamps focus on the themes of agriculture, housing industry and trade.

Great Britain was just one of many commonwealth countries to issue Victory Stamps, along with 57 other countries these stamps form one of the most impressive philatelic issues ever – The 1946 Victory Omnibus Collection.

Issued 70 years after the end of World War II, the Great Britain Victory Stamps are high in demand – we recommend that you secure yours today.
