Own an original Civil War token and newspaper

It’s one of the most famous wars in history – the US Civil War. And it produced one of the most interesting coin issues in US numismatic history.

Now today you have the chance to own a US Civil War token alongside and ORIGINAL newspaper issued during the war.

Civil War Token

During the Civil War there was such a shortage of coins that the public began issuing their own tokens.

These tokens featured patriotic messages and became extremely popular across the country. However, these incredible tokens were banned by Congress after just 3 years of their first issue.

And now you have the chance to own one of these extremely interesting and historically significant tokens alongside an ORIGINAL newspaper issued during the Civil War.

Limited availability

However, these tokens are exceptionally difficult to source even in the United States, so to have this opportunity as a UK collector is extremely rare.

We have a small number of these fantastic sets available exclusively for Westminster Collection collectors, but you’ll need to act quickly!
