This year marks the 50^th anniversary of Pride in London. To mark the event, a silver proof 50p has been released by The Royal Mint, along with stamps from Royal Mail!

Pride Silver Proof 50p Coin and Stamp Cover

The cover itself includes The Royal Mint Silver Proof Pride 50p coin, struck from Sterling Silver and featuring a colourful rainbow design by LGBTQ+ activist Dominique Holmes.

Uniquely featuring the addition of vivid colour — a rarity for a Royal Mint coin — each of the five rainbows in the design are accompanied with part of the inscription, “PRIDE PROTEST VISIBILITY UNITY EQUALITY”.

Also featuring on the cover are the four 1^st Class Stamps, released by Royal Mail and illustrated by British artist, Sofie Birkin. They tell the story of Pride over the last 50 year and feature the iconic rainbow colours.

Your Cover has then been specially postmarked with a Royal Mail cancellation on the stamps first day of issue — 1^st July 2022.

Limited to 195 worldwide
