The Royal Mint are celebrating 25 years of the iconic bimetallic £2 by releasing a brand-new commemorative edition of the £2 coin that has been a staple of everyday change since 1997.

• Struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality - meaning it is free of the scratches and blemishes found on circulating coinage. 
• The last time a commemorative, bi-metallic UK £2 coin will feature an effigy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
• Featuring lenticular technology that reveals a “25” when tilted from one side to the other. 
• Displays the original 1997 ‘Technology’ design by Bruce Rushin.
• The obverse not only features Jody Clark’s QEII portrait, but also includes a special privy mark in the form of the central Iron Age circle.
