Each banknote is made from pure silver with a beautiful Proof-like finish. And to create such a high-spec but affordable release, state of the art technology has been used to create a note that is just 0.045mm thick. 

What’s more, the banknotes feature stunning photography of Concorde from throughout its lifetime, taken by Adrian Meredith.

Some of the impressive images include taking off, landing and the first time it went supersonic.

Importantly, these were the FIRST EVER pure silver legal tender banknotes to be issued, with the obverse featuring the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II to make them legal tender.
