Inhabiting the outcrops of the Atacama Desert in South America, it is said the Alicanto devours the rich deposits of gold and silver leading to the creature being stalked by prospectors hoping it will lead them to a valuable loot.
This legend is wonderfully recreated in the design on this Pure Silver 2oz coin, with the gold and silver particles encased throughout the centre of the piece, providing an enchanting shimmer as the coin is moved.
Perfectly complimented with an antique finish to reflect the ancient tale of the Chilean folktale, just 2,500 will ever be released.
