UK 2024 200 Years of the RNLI 50p Coin Range

Celebrating two centuries of saving lives and honouring the dedicated volunteers who contribute to the RNLI's success.

 

Since the charity launched its first lifeboat in 1824, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has saved more than 144,000 lives at sea. Their selfless volunteers and cutting-edge lifeboats embody a legacy of courage, making the RNLI a symbol of unwavering commitment to safety and rescue. To commemorate the 200th Anniversary the RNLI, and to honour the legacy of those who risk their lives to save others at sea, The Royal Mint issued this UK RNLI 50p coin range.

The Royal Mint Limited will contribute 5% (3% of the gold) of the price excluding VAT in support of the RNLI. Payments are made to RNLI (Sales) Ltd (which pays all its taxable profits to the RNLI, a charity registered in England and Wales (209603),Scotland (SC037736), the Republic of Ireland (20003326), the Bailiwick of Jersey (14), the Isle of Man (1308 and 006329F) and the Bailiwick of Guernsey and Alderney.
